I always think of New Year's Eve as “amateur” night. It's the night when those who rarely party suddenly decide that this is the last night to chug champagne and wear sparkles. Trust me, I believe you should wear sparkles whenever you please. Even if it isn't the last day of the year.
This New Year's Eve our plan was very low key. We went to a friend's house for potluck dinner and avoided the craziness — 150,000 people crammed onto Broadway Street in Nashville to see Kings of Leon and fireworks.
I always love watching the TV roundups that showcase the year's “Best Of” lists. So of course, I had to have one of my own. I'm breaking it down into categories to show you some of my favorites from the past year.
Most Popular Posts
My posts about my “big move” were probably the biggest posts of the year in terms of hits. The biggest post was “The Big Leap” where I announced I was moving. You can read all about the move here.
My posts about blogging went WAY up this year. I started focusing on growing your blog and people seemed to respond. Here were some of the biggest posts:

How To Find a Job Working from Home (not necessarily a blogging post but still kind of in that realm)
I had some posts with Pinterest that really took off, those are:

Facebook famous was “How to Save to Buy a Home in 6 Months”

“How Much Does it Cost to Go to Tomorrowland.”
This
post was intended to be a comprehensive resource for a music festival
in Belgium. It's been featured in a lot of places (and comes up in a LOT
of searches because I SEO'ed the crap out of it!) and was really proud
of this post.

Apparently, you guys like red cups. I'm a little embarrassed that there's two red cups in a row there. #Basic. Also that pumpkin pic went semi viral. It was regrammed on Instagram at least two dozen times. One thing's for sure, I like hand pics.
Biggest Wins for 2015
Hands down: blogging full time. I think this is the happiest I've ever been in life (save from when I was 6 years old and my little sisters weren't born yet and life was just awesome.) I worked my butt off but it's work that I love.
Second place: launching online courses. The first course I launched was: Instagram for Success. I've had over 200 students take this course and seen tremendous results. It's so incredible to take something you love and see it grow.
Moving to Nashville. I've never moved outside of Dallas, Texas so this was huge for me. I proved to myself that I could get out of my comfort zone and it would be well worth it.
Favorite Songs
I already recounted the worst songs of 2015, so here are some of the best.

– 679 By Fetty Wap
– Say My Name (remix) by ODESZA, Cedric Gervais

Can you tell what my favorite genre of music is!?
Favorite Reads
When I say read, I also mean listen. I brought up (and debated) that listening is the same as reading the book. But nevertheless, here were my faves:
Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple
The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty
Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall

Things I'd Like to Finally Admit to in 2015:
– I like Ariana Grande. Despite her name sounding like a font and looking like a tiny elf, her voice is awesome.
– I take lots of pictures of my hands on white backgrounds. Go figure.
– I like country music. I've said I didn't, but it's not true (just that pop country-Luke-Bryan stuff).
– Sometimes I just look up pictures of Kendall Jenner. Sorry, but she's really beautiful. Okay and Gigi Hadid. Sue me.
– Some days I only talk to the dogs. And I love it.
So that's a wrap on 2015! Hope yours was awesome and that 2016 is the best yet!
