I love Instagram Stories. I love them more than regular old posting to Instagram itself. There, I said it. And I mean it. Instagram stories are so much more relaxed and fun. Kind of like the old Instagram used to be. The Instagram Story feature is the best way to connect with your audience, build engagement, and have a real, meaningful connection with your following. I wanted to create a way for a group of us to connect and engage with each other. I thought the best way to do this was to offer a 7-day Instagram Story Challenge that will help you find your stride, gain more eyes on you, and figure out your Instagram Story strategy.

Back in August 2016 Instagram announced the release of Instagram Stories. Initially, I rolled my eyes. A Snapchat copy? I didn't think it would matter too much. I'll admit I was wrong. A few months later I hopped on the Insta stories bandwaggon and began immediately seeing its benefit. My pageviews went up (especially from Instagram), I was getting more engagement on my actual Instagram posts, and I just plain loved the features.
Sure enough, in the flash of an eye, Instagram blew Snapchat's stats out of the water. The Instagram features such as swipe ups, location tagging, hashtagging, and the ease of use made it a simple switch. Housed all under one roof I can create cool content, interact, and join in on conversations with my favorite Instagrammers as well as my own audience. It's a win-win. Since the release of Instagram Stories, the amount of time people spend on the app has increased by a lot. People over 25 spend an average of 24 minutes on the app. While people under 25 spend an average of 32 minutes every day on Instagram. Even more interesting, not only are people watching Instagram stories, they are also influenced to purchase, follow, and interact even more. There are 250 million people using Instagram Stories every day. The key to Instagram Stories is to continually create interesting, inviting, and captivating content.
Instagram Stories have become so prevalent in the social media scene. Not only are they a great way to connect, Instagram stories are a great way to promote your product, blog, website, services, or your other social media. Including your Instagram. If you want to grow your Instagram, your website, or monetize your Instagram, you need to embrace Instagram Stories.
