This year I stepped up my game photos wise. At the beginning of January (last year) I took a full course on photography, I learned photoshop, and most of Lightroom, and I tried to be more thought out when snapping pictures. If I compare myself from a few years ago, or even last year, I can see HUGE improvements. So, I wanted to show you some of my favorite images from the past year. Some of these images aren't the best, but they captured the moment none the less. So bad, good, or fun I wanted to share how my year went down in pictures.
My best friends from childhood came and visited me in Nashville. It snowed a record 17 inches.
Can you spot Millie in the corner? Every week, twice a week, we'd go to the park to let the dogs run around. This abandoned golf course was our favorite.
I went to Mardi Gras because it is the best thing ever.
Michael and I took lots of road trips. One of our favorites was to Asheville, North Carolina. Although, if you ask me, the Biltmore is a bit overrated.
I went back to Dallas 4 times in 6 months. Hey, I love my home town.
But I also made the most out of my time in Nashville. We ate lots and lots of Hattie B's Hot Chicken.
Michael and I went to our first (and hopefully not last) Kentucky Derby.
We decided to move to Heidelberg, Germany!
My family took our annual trip to Seaside, Florida.
I went to San Francisco to teach a phone photography course.
We went to Colorado for multiple weddings.
Before our move, we visited Michael's Dad on “the farm.” It was nice to relax and take in some Texas before moving overseas.
I got my last dose of Dallas, Texas.
Boarded a plane with the pups and two suitcases to head for my new life abroad.
We moved to Heidelberg, Germany! And can't get enough.
This is our main staple in our diet: gelato.
Took our first trip out of our new home town to Munich.
During Oktoberfest, of course.
Got lost in Ludwigsburg for the largest pumpkin festival in the world.
Took a day trip to the tiny gingerbread town of Mosbach, Germany.
Went to Strasbourg, France since it's just next door! And to get my laptop fixed.
Spent my first Christmas abroad.
Went to many, many, Christmas markets.
Drank lots and lots of Glüwein.
Went to London to see the INSANE Christmas decor.
