Well y'all, lightning has officially struck twice for Helene in Between.
I'm on the verge of tears. Happy ones. At the end of July I had one of the absolute best experiences of my life, a crazy, magical music festival in Belgium: Tomorrowland. I decided, what the heck, if they are going to send me tickets to Tomorrowland, maybe they will send me to their new venture: TomorrowWorld. On Friday I got the news, two tickets to TomorrowWorld and I'm booking a flight to Atlanta! Oh, and I almost died with excitement.
What is TomorrowWorld? Well the creators of Tomorrowland established the largest and most successful electronic music festival in the world and decided to carry it overseas from Belgium to America!
That's right, TomorrowWorld is being held in Atlanta, Georgia! Well, outside of Atlanta, an 8,000 acre open field in Chattahoochee Hills.
So with 2 years of Tomorrowland experience under my belt, here's all you need to know about TomorrowWorld:
When?
TomorrowWorld is September 27, 28, and 29th of this year. Coming up!!!
Who?
The DJs performing at this festival are huge! And many that played at Tomorrowland like: David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren are playing at TomorrowWorld. In addition to that there will also be Calvin Harris (who I've never seen live before!!) and many more.

How to get to TomorrowWorld
Most importantly, tickets are still on sale! You can get your passes to TomorrowWorld through their website. They even have payment plans, so you don't have to pay it all at once.
Once you arrive in Atlanta you can take a cab, bus or the shuttle in the airport will take you there. From there you can either camp in Dreamville or you can get a hotel near the festival grounds. If you bring your car there is parking but it's very limited.
To get in you will need a ticket or bracelet. If you have a ticket you will take it to the exchange guest for a TomorrowWorld bracelet, registered under your name.
Food And Drink
Everything is purchased with tickets and you will use those to buy everything. There are ATMs around but the lines tend to be long- get cash out ahead of time. Food and drink (based on Tomorrowland) is relatively cheap and very good, so chow down and take a break from the madness.
What to expect at TomorrowWorld
The best pyrotechnics, creativity, ingenuity with the stages and incorporating a “fairy-tale theme” every where you go. Expect decorations everywhere. Not just the stages. The walkways, the food areas, even near the bathrooms (equipped with a “Refresh” station full of body spray and deodorant) are themed.
Some notes on the festival: Stay hydrated- it's Atlanta and it will get hot. You must be 21 to get in, not like in Belgium where the minimum age is 18 years old. Bring ear plugs- don't be dumb and lose your hearing, it's loud, think ahead. Stand out- make a sign or dress in neon, it's a music festival after all.
Again, I feel very very fortunate to get this opportunity to experience this again! I will be documenting my time there when I'm away on twitter @heleneinbetween and instagram @helenesula.
Hope you will follow along OR even better… join me!
