This weekend went so quickly, I think that's why my left eye is continuing to twitch nonstop. But it's nice to look back, reminisce and then start the countdown to Friday again.
-There are two teams: werewolves and villagers. The basic goal is the werewolves try to kill the villagers and the villagers try to kill figure out who the werewolves are and kill them.
-Count the number of people in your group. On separate pieces of paper write out: werewolves (2 of these) seer (one of these) the rest are villagers. So we had 1 moderator (this person doesn't play) 2 werewolves, 1 seer and 6 villagers.
-Everyone picks a piece a paper out of a hat. The moderator then tells everyone to close their eyes (if the moderator sees you open your eyes you're out of the game.)
-The moderator tells the werewolves to open their eyes. The werewolves look at each other and then silently choose who they are going to kill off. They close their eyes. The seer then gets to guess who the werewolf is (silently) and the moderator tells them if they are wrong or right.
-Everyone now opens their eyes and the moderator reveals who is killed (meaning, they are out of the game). Then everyone debates who the werewolves are. Everyone votes on who they think is the werewolf and then that person is killed and reveals who they are. Not one game did we choose a werewolf on the first round.
Everyone is yelling trying to convince you that they aren't a werewolf people start getting rowdy really fast.
-The game ends if both werewolves are killed- the villagers win. OR if there is an even number of werewolves to villagers- werewolves win.
Rules here.
Bottom line: We ended up playing this for about 2 and half hours because it's just that fun and I didn't have to watch a scary movie.
