Celebrate!

Today is Michael's 26th birthday! I wanted to do a little celebrating before, not just because it's his birthday, but because he was offered a wonderful new position and got the job!

I was lucky to get a wonderful opportunity through Pollinate Media to try BJ's Restaurant new deal: $19.95 Party for two.

I thought this would be the perfect place for us to go.

Michael and I are already BJ's Restaurant fans.

#1 for the pizza. Michael is thick crust all the way kinda guy (they do serve thin crust, but he calls that “a snack” and needs thick crust with all kinds of toppings).

#2 the atmosphere. It has TVs showing any and all sports plus it's a nice, casual upbeat environment. Perfect for a date night or a group of friends.

and now #3- for this deal.

In all honesty, this deal is almost too good. (Almost meaning it's the best deal out there).
The Party for Two offer includes the following for $19.95:
Choice of two soups OR salads
Any MEDIUM BJ's Signature Pizza
AND
BJ's Famous Pizookie dessert

I mean, that's a lot of food for $19.95.
*And if you're Gluten free they offer a gluten free option!

Michael and I went to our local BJ's Restaurant (in Addison, near Dallas). 

We started off with drinks (BJ's Restaurant is known for their handcrafted beers).

For starters we went with soup instead of salad.

Michael ordered the chili and I ordered the clam chowder.

I liked it, a little. 

It was delicious and Michael devoured his chili. So we were off to a good start.

Then it was time for pizza. I had a hard time picking one out. I love everything. But I let Michael choose. I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch.

It was amazing! Different and delicious.

I say: If you're eating pizza, you're happy. 

check out that cheese!

I can honestly say BJ's Restaurant has the best pizza out there.

Since we knew we had to save room for dessert we took some pizza home. 

And then it was Pizookie time! 

We ordered the Oreo Pizookie.

my mouth is watering right now.

I mean, you just can't go wrong with a warm cookie, ice cream (and ours had Oreo icing on top!). 

We could have licked the pan. But we didn't.

So, how much do we like this Party For Two Deal!? We are going this coming weekend again– this time with a group of our friends. It's just too good to pass up! The deal is good now until April 29th, 2013!
