Do Dallas Cheap is Back!!

After an extremely long hiatus Do Dallas Cheap is back! I'm planning on formatting the blog a little bit differently this go around: posts will not be everyday and it will not simply focus on daily deals but more events and personal experiences on how to live on the cheap. 

Thank you to those who read the blog (regularly or on occasion) for inspiring me to write again!

We went to Belgium for the Music Festival: Tomorrowland – the biggest and best electronic Dance music festival in the world!

Ok… back to the blog! This weekend is one of my favorites of all for fall: Addison Oktoberfest. It's a festival that celebrates drinking and polka dancing, so yes, this is right up my alley. My husband and I will attend this festival for the 7th year in a row!

We started going our Freshman year of College and have loved it ever since. If you haven't been I highly suggest it! Also, it is the 25th Anniversary of the festival, so there is more than just schnitzel and booze.
It's a great price to get in – $10, or buy ahead of time for $5 at Albertsons!

But the BEST deal is on the hotel packages! Many hotels offer very discounted rates and you get a night in a hotel, 2 tickets to the festival, $10 worth of food and drink coupons and a commemorative beer stein! We always stay at the Hampton Inn for only $59 for the night- plus all these extras! Go here for all the details on hotel deals.

If spending one cent on admission is just out of the price range: you're in luck. Attend on Thursday and it's free!
