Music is kinda my thing. Not saying that I have good taste. Nope, not that at all. I'm just super passionate about it. Or, I have kind of a superiority complex about it.
I always like to find new music to jam to.
I am in a group email with my friends and we have an email thread called “Song of the Week.”
We try and send each other songs (old or new, but mostly new songs that we think the others might not have heard).
So if I was the DJ, here would be my playlist for the weekend:
1. Avicii “Wake Me Up”
This is the perfect pump up song that's still mellow enough to chill to. Plus, it's the perfect House music for those that want to get started with Electronic Dance Music.
2. Major Lazer “Bubble Butt” Feat. Bruno Mars, 2 Chainz, Tyga & Mystic
Warning: this video is super weird. This song is super weird. But it's also really fun. So get over it and jam out.
3. Disclosure “Latch”
This is a slow song. But it's sooooo delicious. I could literally listen to it about 10 times. Ok, maybe I do.
4. Matthew Koma- Vicetone Remix, “One Night”
Vicetone is my new favorite electronic duo. Every. Single. Song. But this one is my favorite.
5. Rich Gang- Lil Wayne, Birdman, Future “Tapout”
I can't have a playlist without some hip hop. This one is dirty. But I just love Lil Wayne. And Paris Hilton makes a cameo in this music video. So, there's that.
I tried to keep it to songs not everyone might know. Of course, Miley Cyrus is on my playlist but, I wanted newer music.
This might become my new Saturday thing. Maybe even a link up- thoughts?! Do you prefer new music, or stuff you already know?
