Well, we made it to Friday. It wasn't that hard, considering it was a short week. But we made it and we should give credit where credit is due. You know what I like about Friday? Everything. Tonight for the first time, in what feels like 6 years, I have no plans. I would say I'm going to sit around and watch TV but knowing me that's not going to happen. Plus I have Lana Del Ray's “Summertime Sadness” (the remix version by Cedric Gervais, thank you) song stuck in my head. And to quote her, “I'm feeling electric.” I think a little dancing is in order.
But while I dream of dance floors, I am honored to have Casey on the blog today. Casey is one of my all time favorite travel bloggers. It helps that her pictures are incredible. Seriously, it's like music to your eyes. She has been everywhere. I can't help but be jealous of her fabulous stories. But the good thing is she gives you plenty of reasons to travel and her experience as a third culture kid is as interesting as it is uplifting.
Hi Helene in Between readers! I'm Casey from True Colours and I'm here guest posting today.
If you've read my blog at all, you'll know from first look that I adore Paris and France in general,
and like Helene, I find Paris completely magical and there is no where else in the world that I feel more alive, more like myself.
I do a lot of traveling, both for work and for fun, but one place that I keep going back to is the beautiful French City of Light. I've been more times than I can count now, starting when I was a child and my French love affair has continued on into my adulthood. I see myself living there someday, but for now, I try to get there at least once every year.
There is so much I adore about Paris, but over the years, I've come to find those things that I love to do every trip and they have become my favorite things about the French capitol. So here, in no particular order are my absolute favorite things about Paris, things to do, see and eat!
If you want to see more about Paris or the many other places I've traveled, come on over and check out my archives!
