The dogs (Millie and Hugo) have been driving me a little nuts lately. They both got fixed last week
and were sporting cones. The vet told us to “keep them calm” and so that meant no playing or runs or jumping up and down when we got home. It's very hard to tell a dog not to do that.
And they keep butting me with these cones.
But to keep me sane, here are some songs that remind me of my favorite pups:
1. Elvis Presley “Hound Dog”
I once had an Elvis themed birthday party, that is a story for a different day. But I still do love him and this song.
2. Duran Duran “Hungry like the Wolf”
Ok, it's about a wolf. But dogs descended from wolves so basically it's the same thing, right?
3. Snoop Dogg “Drop It Like It's Hot”
Gotta give props to Snoop Dogg on this one. He is the top dogg afterall.
Speaking of dogs, they got a little surprise in the mail. A Petbox. It's a box full of goodies for your pooch sent to your door stop once a month. It's only $29 and comes with premium toys, treats, and accessories for your pet each month. You can even tailor it to your dog, and every 30 days you'll recieve new items.
Someone's excited for Petbox. |
I don't know about you but my dogs run through chew toys like it's their job. But this Petbox couldn't have come at a better time. Recently, Hugo had a run in with a skunk. We washed him and made sure we scrubbed him well, but honestly, he still stinks a little.
This Petbox came with “Organic Oscar” Shampoo and Conditioner which was especially needed.
What I liked most is that I could use it on his head (that's where he was sprayed!) without concern for it hurting his eyes. I can finally say he now smells like a dog and not a skunk.
Their favorite items were the toys and treats, of course.
I know this one's a little blurry but I've never seen them play tug of war with anything before. New favorite toy, they'll just have to learn to share!
I finally distracted Millie with some treats.
Hugo was not available for any more pictures as he was busy smelling nice and with his new toy.
Would you try Petbox?
