Hello music lovers! I'm super excited to be sharing my playlist with you today. Helene and I share a deep love of music (and our fur babies) so I've been preparing this list in my head for awhile now… hopefully I don't overlook anything or make it too long!
Music runs so deeply through me that it can fix my heart when it's broken, make me smile when my world is upside down, and make me do silly things like create my own random lyrics at the drop of a dime. I'm a DJ's daughter that works for a DJ Company. I grew up with Elvis and Oldies echoing in the halls of our home, so it's no surprise that I would jump on the opportunity to share a playlist with you that included some of my Oldies/Motown favorites.
This song always reminds me of Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act 2 (which I could watch 1,000 MORE times and know every word to- tragically my fiance would say)..

This has got to be my FAVORITE Aretha song. I will unconsciously start singing this and people will look at me like I'm crazy (I am). When I was working at a Retirement to Life Community, years back, I would play this for my Ladies. They loved it and were surprised that someone my age had such great taste. Thank you, Thank you.
