I can't leave you hanging without a playlist! I'm currently listening to live David Guetta, Avicii, Kaskade and the like, let's do a 180 and have some Oldies/Motown. Today I have Jamie of You Gotta Have Hart showing us some old school hits- you can't go wrong!
The Motown Playlist

Hello music lovers! I'm super excited to be sharing my playlist with you today. Helene and I share a deep love of music (and our fur babies) so I've been preparing this list in my head for awhile now… hopefully I don't overlook anything or make it too long!
Music runs so deeply through me that it can fix my heart when it's broken, make me smile when my world is upside down, and make me do silly things like create my own random lyrics at the drop of a dime. I'm a DJ's daughter that works for a DJ Company. I grew up with Elvis and Oldies echoing in the halls of our home, so it's no surprise that I would jump on the opportunity to share a playlist with you that included some of my Oldies/Motown favorites.

This song always reminds me of Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act 2 (which I could watch 1,000 MORE times and know every word to- tragically my fiance would say)..

(Love Is Like A) Heat Wave by Martha and The Vandellas on Grooveshark

Every time I hear this song, it's stuck in my head for days yet I love it so much.

What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted by Jimmy Ruffin on Grooveshark

This would be one of those songs that cause me to blurt out my own lyrics..
can you figure out what I might say??

The Commodores – Easy by Motown on Grooveshark

A classic! This song always gets me in a good move and makes me want to dance.

Speaking of dancing.. street party anyone?
This has got to be my FAVORITE Aretha song. I will unconsciously start singing this and people will look at me like I'm crazy (I am). When I was working at a Retirement to Life Community, years back, I would play this for my Ladies. They loved it and were surprised that someone my age had such great taste. Thank you, Thank you.

I think we all need a little of this!
Love me some Stevie!
And this classic always gets me going. I could listen to it over and over!

Diana Ross & The Supremes – Reflections by Motown on Grooveshark

I hope that everyone enjoyed my Oldies Playlist as much as I do!
