Fact and Fiction

You know when you hear stuff on the internet, news, radio, and from your mom and you wonder- is this really true? Well I'm breaking down the fiction and facts today. There is no evidence behind this, except it's my opinion whether or not it should be true or not. Or unless I'm just really sure. So let's just take my word for it.

FICTION: Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up. E News reported that the couple split but I'm calling it false. I think I just want them to stay together because I think they're a cute couple and also because I believe in fairy tales and everyone should stay together forever. The end.

FACT: Boy band member Harry Styles and Kardashianer (new word, yes?), Kendall Jenner broke up. In other facts, no one cares.

FICTION: I've been really good about dieting since I have a cruise to go on in less than 2 months. This is bad but I'm blaming life.

FACT: Taco Bell will be serving breakfast. I don't know about you but I wake up in the morning wondering when I can get a cheesy gordita crunch in my mouth. Not really. But they aren't just stopping at breakfast burritos, they're taking it up a notch with a waffle taco. Hmm, I guess I'll have to try this.

FACT: Justin Timberlake flipped off a fan. During a concert a fan flipped him off and Justin Timberlake responded by doing the same and then asking the crowd to join him. Don't mess with JT, he'll make you cry a river.

FICTION: Matthew McConaughey will win the Oscar for Best Actor this year for the movie Mud. Well, Mud isn't even nominated (despite Michael almost calling “whoever I need to talk to about this atrocity”) but he could win for Dallas Buyers Club. Reports are also pointing to Chiwetel Ejiofor from 12 Years A Slave as well.

FACT: I'm tired of it being cold.

FICTION: I'm not listening to Miley Cyrus' rendition of “Hey Ya” by Outkast. No, it's on repeat. Because shoot, it's really good. This video is worth the watch, and she twerks at the end so…

One thing that's definitely a fact is my love for a blogger I have the pleasure of talking to you about today. There are travel bloggers and then there are real travel bloggers. I claim to travel. I do, but nothing compares to that of Casey or “We Took The Road Less Traveled.”

Her blog title fits this to a T. She and her husband travel to exotic locations that will leave you wanting to pack your bags immediately. But she started her blog when he got the order to move to Germany, she wanted a way to keep her family and friends up to date on her life, turned out more and more people wanted to tune in.

She's a girl after my own heart, her favorite destination (so far) is London. There's just so much culture, so much to see, do and experience- I couldn't agree more.

She not only takes pretty pictures (and believe me, she does, check out her recent trip to Malaga, Spain) she is 100% genuine. Her “Don't List” will have you nodding along the entire time. But one of her truest posts is about Blogging Currency. We all attribute success in the blogging world in one way or another, and this post perfectly illustrates just that. It will make you reevaluate your blog and your interaction. I couldn't agree more.

Casey's blog is like sitting down and talking to your best friend about her latest adventure. It's real and it's exciting. You feel like she's taking you with her on the adventure.
