First I want to say thank you!! I was nominated for The Best Local Blogger in Dallas and although I didn't win, I can't even believe that so many people voted for me! I didn't do a giveaway to try and win votes or promise discounts on ad space, I simply just asked for votes and y'all voted. I can't tell you how much that means to me and I am so honored that you took the time to vote. THANK YOU! And third place ain't bad if you ask me.
Saturday was the wedding of one of my friends from high school. This meant a high school reunion (I say that, but I still hang out with all of my high school friends). This also meant free alcohol, food, and dancing. You just can't go wrong.
I am so exhausted from this weekend. During lunch you can find me taking a nap under a tree in my car. I'm serious. Michael put me to work this weekend in the yard. Yard work is hard. And I never want to do it again. Please and thank you.
One of our tasks was cleaning out the gutters. Michael said, oh this will take 20 minutes! No. It took an hour and 20 minutes. I'm still mad at him over that.
A selfie of anger. And dirt on my face. You're welcome for this.
3. You have a bucket list, what's the most important thing on that list?
To really forgive the people who have hurt me. Over the past six years, people extremely close to me have hurt me in ways I never imagined possible. I have had my best friend turn on me, my family do unspeakable things in an effort to sabotage my marriage, and other things that still hurts my heart. I really want to forgive them and finally move on with my life. Until I am able to, it feels like I'm stuck and I hate that feeling because I don't want to live in the past anymore.
