You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl. My home state has been on my mind more than usual lately. And it's not just because I'm homesick. It's because one of the largest and devastating hurricanes has hit my home state. Houston and surrounding areas are particularly impacted with flooding that has reached over 2 feet. Nine people have died, 3,000 have been rescued, it's estimated that 30,000 people will need emergency shelters, and 450,000 people will seek disaster aid.
Wow.
The best way that I know how to help is by giving back. Even if I'm 1,000s of miles away I want to support those affected by the storm and do my part to give back. Which brings me to my announcement.
I was going to wait to share this, but I'm going for it now. I'm offering my Lightroom presets! And to kick off my new professional photo edits I'm giving 100% of the proceeds back to the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief fund.
