“Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life.”
It's easier said then done.
For me, I struggle with figuring out where my true passion lies. I know what makes me happy but it's hard to put on paper how to achieve that as a means to an end. How can I actually make money doing what I love?
An example of people doing what they love? Nunco Design Company. They are Finnish entrepreneurs with an eye for beautiful design. So they combined their passion and turned it into a business. Pretty amazing and inspiring if you ask me. I picked this case, because it's a good reminder for me to go out there and do what I love.
All of their designs start from scratch and you can see what else they have here. This one is also a favorite of mine. With discount code “HELENE” get 10% off.
I think the tricky part is figuring out what “it” is. IT keeps me up at night. I want to be successful. I want to make money (not millions but enough to live on). And I want to do it on my terms. That's asking for a lot, but isn't that the goal? To provide for yourself while making yourself happy?
Although I haven't figured out just what that is yet, I feel like I'm getting closer. I'm figuring out how I can combine my passion with a career.
Someone who is doing just that is Melany of Melany's Guydlines. She's one of those people who is doing it all. She writes her blog, which is insanely successful. She talks about her online dating stories, her social media success (the woman has 10s of thousands of followers on Facebook and Twitter) and snarky tales about her life. She's one of those bloggers you will wonder why you haven't been reading.
She recently was asked to be a member Social and Behavioral Sciences Advisory Board for the University of Arizona!

Not only that, she launched “The Snark Tank“, a brilliant idea in which people can submit their snarky stuff and Melany will give it her review. (She just did one for these hilarious flasks). She's full of new ideas and stories. Her blog is instant entertainment.
So check out her blog, but only if you like laughing and hearing some of the most ridiculous, real stories around.
