Right now, I'm in Vegas and hopefully I haven't lost all of my money yet. Doubtful, but there's hope. I've put together a list of songs that make me feel like Vegas- the glitz, the glam, and the craziness. Whether you're dancing on a table in a club, losing all your friends, or just walking the strip these should get you in the mood.
1. Britney Spears “Toxic”
I have to start it off right with the one and only Britney Spears. This is one of my favorite tracks of hers, it's upbeat, flashy and constantly moving, just like Vegas. Plus she's wearing wigs throughout the whole video and in some sparkly get up I would imagine she would wear at one of her Vegas shows.
2. Elvis Presley”Viva Las Vegas”
He might have been performing in Vegas as a little older, and fatter version of himself, but he was still the King. I'll definitely be singing this song while playing blackjack.
3. Katy Perry “Waking Up in Vegas”
Let's hope none of the lyrics that go on in this song happen to me. This song is fun, infectious, and I'll be shaking the glitter off my clothes.
4. David Guetta “Titanium”
Maybe a little overplayed on the radio, it's still a great Guetta song. He just knows how to get the party started and I fully intend on jumping up and down when I see him live!
5. Chainsmokers “#Selfie”
I know. I know. This song is the somehow awesome and terrible but I can't help myself. It's been stuck in my head for about 5 days now. I'm sure I'll be taking my fair share of selfies this weekend while at the club. So it works.
6. The Killers “Mr Brightside”
The band is from Las Vegas afterall, so they earned their place on this list. Plus I just love belting this out, I'll be doing that walking down the strip.
7. Frank Sinatra “Luck Be A Lady”
This one reminds me of old, classic Vegas. Plus you can't go wrong with Sinatra.
8. T.I. featuring Rihanna “Live Your Life”
Yes, it's a “Hangover” reference, but still. This is such a great song for when you're living it up and yolo-ing.
9. AC/DC “Sin City”
Pretty self explanatory- a power rock anthem about the city itself.
10. Mickey Avalon “What Do You Say”
This song is just hilariously awesome, and kind of what I have pictured in my mind about what Vegas is really like.
