Weekend Playlist – Best of Both Worlds
My taste in music has always varied. Sure, I get hooked on things (if you haven't noticed I'm pretty hooked on electronic right now). But I've always enjoyed a variety. My current taste involves a love of both electronic and hip hop.
So this weekend's playlist is a mix of both. The best of both worlds, if you ask me.
1. Yo Gotti ft Ti “King Shit”
I can't explain why I love this song. I just do. I am a big T.I. fan and this song is just perfect. It makes me want to dance. Well everything does but let's go with it.
2. Avicii “Addicted to You”
I know what you're thinking- Helene is Avicii going to be on all your playlists? Hopefully. Because he is a genius and my crush in life. Sorry Michael. This song has a blues, old timey feel and then it speeds up. It's perfect.
3. Mike Will Made it Ft Miley Cyrus, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa “23”
This is the dumbest song ever. Look up the lyrics. But I can't help it. I love it so much. Oh Miley, you have so much street cred, now dontcha?
4. Zedd “Follow You Down”
I have to check my old weekend playlists to make sure I don't put the same songs on here twice. I just get addicted to certain artists and music. Every thing I hear from Zedd, I get addicted to, in a good way. Easy to listen to, pretty music with an electronic edge.
5. Dorrough “After Party”
Dorrough is a Dallas based rapper so that means I like him even more. I love all his music but I just love the fact that he has his after parties at the Marriott.
6. Cash Cash “Take Me Home”
Ok I'm ending it on this one, it's a feel good song. Perfect for a great Saturday. And life.
