If you're anything like me, you're still shopping for Christmas presents. I am still working on Michael's Christmas present as we speak. Since he doesn't read this blog, I can tell you that I've been working on it for the past couple months. I bought a map of the world, some pins, and a frame and I plan on mapping out all the places we've traveled to since dating. I have yet to actually frame it. Wish me luck.
But other than that I still need to get my Mom a present, my Dad, oh and Michael's dad. So here are some last minute ideas.
-Movie theater tickets. I'm sticking this in my Dad's stocking along with some popcorn tied to it. This is something we can go do together!
-Groupon. Or really any deal site. You can print it out and stick it in the stocking- easy and fun.
-Those little mini liquor bottles. Liquor stores are conveniently always open around the holidays and those tiny bottles of alcohol are just so cute. Pair it with a shot glass.
– A new phone case. Who doesn't like variety and pretty things? This is a hint to anyone that still needs a present for me (and my iPhone 6!)
– Passport holder. This is the perfect gift for the traveler. I saw the CUTEST one at Target for $12.
– 2015 planner or calendar. This is one of my favorite things to receive every year so I can be organized. Plus, maybe next year I'll have all my shopping done ahead of time instead of at the last minute…
– Homejoy house cleaning. After all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays I'd really love to not have to worry about whether or not my house is clean. Right before the holidays I booked a Homejoy cleaning to prepare for hosting Christmas dinner at our house.
I was pretty nervous, I never had anyone over for dinner for Christmas and Michael and I were planning a pretty big spread. With all the parties, events, and food prep; I knew I wouldn't have a minute to spare to clean the house. Luckily, Homejoy pulled through. I could book everything online and Rose came promptly on Monday.
She cleaned my very dirty house from top to bottom, including the baseboards! The house looks the best it has since we moved in. And it's one more thing I don't have to fret over before Christmas. A cleaning is the perfect gift for Christmas, or of course, for yourself! You can even send a cleaning as a gift.
I'll be booking Homejoy at least once a month so I can stay on top of a clean home!
Do you still have Christmas shopping to do?
