My whole life I’ve always wanted to start something on my own. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. I was, of course, selling the lemonade on the side of the road, but I took it a step further. I started making bracelets and selling those. Then I went as far as knocking door to door as a singing telegram. All before the age of six. When I was 19 I started my own dance camp. It was successful and fun and it gave me a taste of what it was like to start something on my own.
Working for yourself is hard. But it’s something I want to do and it always has been a dream. It’s one of those passions I have that I just can’t not try. Something happened recently which has given me the unique opportunity of trying something new. It’s as if the stars have aligned and are yelling at me, “Helene, now’s your chance!”
So instead of just resting on my laurels, I’m taking the chance. I’m going to dive in.
It’s a risk and a big change but I’m hoping that it will be a good life decision. Right now I have to try and live my dream, even if I fail.
I can’t reveal exactly what it is yet, but I will be very soon! So thank you for sticking with me. This blog has meant more to be than I ever thought possible.
And now for someone who is working on their dreams.
Blog designs. I wish that this was something I was good at. But the fact of the matter is, I’m not. It’s not the coding as much as the basic idea that I’m terrible at making things look pretty. It’s a fact that I’ve learned to live with.
Luckily, there’s people out there like Ashley that really know their stuff. Just look at what she made for this feature! The image is clickable
