For the last two weeks I’ve been good. And when I say good I mean I’ve been eating healthy and working out. I’m not going to lie. It’s hard. A lot of days I hate it. I’ve definitely cheated a time or two (or six), but I do notice I feel better. Besides using the fitbit I started the Slimfast
|Isn’t Slimfast awesome for sending body wash, lip gloss and nail polish?!|
It’s a two week program where you have a protein shake or meal bar for breakfast and lunch (with snacks in between) and then have a sensible dinner. You also throw in at least 30 minute of cardio a day. That’s one thing I am fairly good at, I usually work out every day; I just struggle with choosing the right foods to eat. I’m always busy or on the go so I reach for what I have handy, and sometimes that means fast food. I almost never make a good decision at a fast food restaurant.
It’s really important for me to be healthy especially with my trip to Europe coming up. We spend the entire day walking around or jumping up and down at a music festival. So I’ll need my stamina and want to feel good!

At first, I thought oh no. Those protein bars are disgusting. I’ve tried many before, and I basically had to choke them down. But the Slimfast Have Your Cake Meal Bar is the best one I’ve ever tried in my life.
I actually found myself looking forward to my midday break of a bar that tasted like an actual piece of cake WITH icing at only 180 calories. That’s it. Plus with this program you can lose up to six pounds in two weeks!
|Yes I painted my nails to match the bars, what about it?|
So what were my results you’re wondering? I lost four pounds in two weeks. This is a healthy weight-loss that I’m excited about. I feel better and more confident, and I’m ready to keep kicking butt and losing weight. Weight has always been an issue in my life, but I finally feel like something has clicked: being healthy isn’t temporary, it’s a lifestyle change. And I’m ready for the challenge it will bring. I have to be!
I am telling you, whether you’re trying to lose weight or just eat healthy you should have these bars on hand. They are a delicious way to grab something good for you while you’re on the go.
